  14. Previously software known as HVSｪ PhotoGIFｪ was available as part of the HVSｪ WebFocusｪ package. This software, as well as the HVSｪ WebFocusｪ package is no longer available and there is very little, if any chance that it will be made available again.

  16. HVSｪ PhotoGIFｪ was developed by us using a technology component provided by Digital Frontiers, LLC. and Digital Frontiers, LLC. was to be the publisher of HVSｪ PhotoGIFｪ as a part of the HVSｪ WebFocusｪ package.

On 8/2/96 Digital Frontiers, LLC. took hostile action against us and thereafter made demands that we relinquish all rights to the HVSｪ PhotoGIFｪ and HVSｪ ProJPEGｪ software, which comprised the HVSｪ WebFocusｪ package, so they could make a lot of money with it and take all the credit for it while we got squat for designing and developing it. This was very coincidentally timed with the completion of the software, and can only lead us to speculate that their intentions were never quite honorable.

  20. We immediately terminated all relations with them in response and neither party now holds legal right to continue to distribute the HVSｪ PhotoGIFｪ software the HVSｪ ProJPEGｪ software, which comprised the HVSｪ WebFocusｪ package.

PhotoGIFｪ 2.0 is gloriously free from any claims by Digital Frontiers, LLC. and is the update to PhotoGIFｪ 1.1.4. Though it has the equivelent functionality and capability as HVSｪ PhotoGIFｪ, it is not the same product as HVSｪ PhotoGIFｪ or HVSｪ WebFocusｪ and should not be thought of as such. There are some differences between PhotoGIFｪ 2.0 and the now unavailable HVS PhotoGIFｪ, which was part of the HVS WebFocusｪ package, but the most significant of those is

  25. There is, after all, a chance that HVSｪ WebFocusｪ just may be released again in the future sometime after I see Elvis in the supermarket looking at the Weekly World News tabloid instead of on the cover of it with the space aliens and the three headed babies.
